Who the course is for
The course Quay and Sea Trials is aimed at anyone interested in understanding the scope and the objectives of the quay and sea trials to be performed prior ship delivery. This may include Ship Managers, Technical Superintendents, Ship Masters, Officers and Seafarers; Shipyards Technical Staff; Surveyors; Flag and Port State Officers; P&I and/or Insurance Inspectors; Naval Architects; Etc.
Objectives
On completion of the training, students will be able to:
Get familiar and understand the rules and regulations applicable for quay and sea trials
Know the responsibilities of each player
Know the tests required by the Classification Rules and by Statutory Regulations
Understand the methods for checking the ship's capabilities under realistic service conditions
