Empathic validation means the ability to recognise the feelings of others, without explaining, rejecting or judging them. Whoever we are, it is important that other people see, hear and understand us. Research shows that relational skills are among the most important factor in a leader’s everyday work.
A key element of relational skills is your ability to react to your own emotions and those of others in a constructive manner. In this module you will get to know a technique that will help in this respect: empathetic validation.
