Course Description:- The LSA and FFA Inspection Module 2 consists of five virtual tours. Here, you will be guided on how to carry out checks of various firefighting appliances, how to test various associated equipment and ensure all the equipment is ready for immediate use. This course will also show you the most frequent checks and tests carried out by various inspectors and auditors. Learning Objectives:- At the end of this course, the candidate will be able to: · Demonstrate the various checks carried out on the emergency fire pump and will be able to ensure that the emergency fire pump is compliant in all respects, ready for an inspection and ready for immediate use. · Demonstrate the various checks carried out on the Fixed foam operating system as well as the portable foam applicator and ensure it is compliant in all respects, ready for an inspection and ready for immediate use. · Demonstrate the various checks carried out on the Fixed CO2 system and will be able to ensure the CO2 system is compliant in all respects, ready for an inspection and ready for immediate use. · Demonstrate the various checks carried out on the SCBA compressor and will be able to ensure the SCBA compressor is compliant in all respects, ready for an inspection and ready for immediate use. · Demonstrate the various checks required to be carried out for various extinguishers and will be able to ensure the extinguisher are compliant in all respects, ready for an inspection and ready for immediate use. · Demonstrate the various checks to be carried out on the fire hose, the fire hose box and the coupling. The participants will also be able to demonstrate how to check the fire hose and the emergency fire pump using two fire hoses.
