Course Description:- The LSA and FFA Inspection Module 3 consists of five virtual tours. Here, you will be guided on how to carry out checks of various lifesaving and Firefighting appliances, how to test various associated equipment and ensure all the equipment is ready for immediate use. This course will also show you the most frequent checks and tests carried out by various inspectors and auditors. Learning Objectives:- At the end of this module, the candidate will be able to: · Demonstrate the various checks carried out on the lifebuoys and the MOB markers and will be able to ensure that the life buoy is compliant in all respects, ready for inspection and ready for immediate use · Demonstrate the various checks carried out on the Emergency escape breathing devices (EEBDs) and ensure they is compliant in all respects, ready for inspection and ready for immediate use. · Demonstrate the various checks carried out on Lifejackets & Immersion Suits and will be able to ensure they are compliant in all respects, ready for an inspection and ready for immediate use. · Demonstrate the various checks carried out prior to using the SCBA set; they will also be able to confidently check the fireman’s outfit, and ensure it is compliant in all respects, ready for an inspection and ready for immediate use. · Carry out an inspection of various FFA such as the International shore connection, Vent Fan Stops & Fire Flaps, Fire plan, and IMO symbols and will be able to ensure these are compliant in all respects, ready for an inspection and ready for immediate use.
