Course Description:-

This course consists of 3 modules. It gives an insight into SEEMP. This must be viewed in conjunction with your SMS and your ship-specific SEEMP onboard. 

 A very comprehensive and detailed explanation of what is meant by SEEMP (shipboard energy efficiency management plan) and different means to save energy is given.

It explains terms like EEDI  and EEOI, M.R.V in a simple way,  discusses the certification requirement and the International energy efficiency certificate and explains the details required for reporting as required in SEEMP part 2.

This course also serves as a refresher training before any inspection and, in turn, will boost the candidate's confidence.  

Learning Objectives:-

2) What are the factors that affect the Actual (attained EEDI)

3) Explain the EEOI energy efficiency Operating index

Course Description:-

This course consists of 4 modules. This gives an insight as to what to expect during a USCG inspection.

The Course is surely not exhaustive, but it surely will empower the candidate on how to deal with USCG Inspectors professionally and how to handle the situation maturely and answer correctly.

It also serves as a refresher training before the actual USCG inspection and, in turn, will boost the candidate's confidence. 

In this course,  

1) You will be guided on what to expect during a USCG inspection, the precautions to take, the various types of deficiencies and ship categories. This module will also show you the most frequent checks and tests carried out by various inspectors and auditors.

2) It will help combine your knowledge, core competency, your soft skills, your situational awareness and your attitude and empower you to be an efficient member of the vessel’s team.

3) It will assure the candidate on how to deal with third-party Inspectors professionally and how to handle the situation maturely. 

Learning Objectives:-

At the end of this module, the candidate will be able to

1) Carry out systematic checks and tests and tests in the same way a USCG inspector would check your vessel; this will ensure that these spaces are compliant and ready for inspection.

2) Keep all the required documents ready for an inspection prior to the USCG inspector boarding the vessel. List the various parameters/points on how a boat and fire drill is evaluated by the USCG inspector and can prepare the crew accordingly

3) Understand the responsibility and importance of having the right attitude when dealing with third-party inspectors, 

4) Understand the importance of good housekeeping, accurate record keeping and complying with the Company SMS, International statutory, Flag state and USCG requirements 

5) Confidently carry out any test or reply to any question asked by the USCG inspector, which in turn, will boost the candidate's confidence.

The course Boiler Installations is aimed at anyone interested in getting familiar with the marine auxiliary boilers. This may include Ship Managers, Technical Superintendents, Ship Masters, Officers and Seafarers; Shipyards Technical Staff; Surveyors; Flag and Port State Officers; P&I and/or Insurance Inspectors; Naval Architects; Etc.

Course assessment with a 70% pass mark and two attempts.

Who is this course for?

The course is designed for Maritime Key Personnel — individuals who may be the first point of contact during a cyber incident and are responsible for supporting the Cybersecurity Officer (CySO) in managing the response. Key Personnel include anyone with duties that could involve a direct role in cyber incident response, or are critical to the operations of the covered IT/OT systems, including contractors.

Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to give an account of the construction process of a production well, and the equipment that is used for completion. In addition to this, they should be able to describe the most common problems that affect wells, as well as giving an account of how these can be solved.
